The Bosporus strait runs through the heart of Istanbul connecting Europe and Asia, making it a vibrant city. No matter where I focused my camera there the constant movement of people, ferries, cars and trucks. To escape the excitement and go beyond the majestic buildings, spice bazaars, and friendly cats I ventured through the curvy Ottoman alleyways to the people who call Istanbul home. Here on these cobblestone alleyways I was met with warmth and many glasses of tea.
